Sheryl Crow is back with new music, bringing her signature blend of rock, pop, and Americana to her latest project, Pick You Up.
Released October 9, the seven-track album was produced by Crow and longtime collaborator Jeff Trott. The project was recorded at Crow’s Old Green Barn home studio and explores themes of freedom, hope, personal connection, and the challenges of modern life.
One of the album’s notable tracks, Freedom Bus, features singer-songwriter Jesse Welles. Crow said the song was inspired by a visit to Arlington National Cemetery during a school trip with her son. The experience prompted her to reflect on the sacrifices made to protect freedom and the importance of understanding different perspectives.
Pick You Up continues Crow’s musical journey following her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023.
Known for hits including All I Wanna Do, Soak Up the Sun, and If It Makes You Happy, Crow has spent decades connecting with listeners through personal storytelling and memorable melodies.
The new album is now available on major streaming platforms.
